FAQs
Caribbean Rollerama is open 7 days a week with including most public holidays. Hours of operation vary by day and school holidays. We have a number of sessions per day however, it is always recommended to check our website or call for the most accurate information.
Caribbean Rollerama hire skates and blades to customers. You can purchase this hire online or at the rink. Sizes are available from size 9 to size 14. There is a size guide at the front of the rental area.
Customers are welcome to bring their own roller skates or roller blades, the wheels must be clean and the skates/blades in good working order. Socks MUST be worn in the facility. No skateboards, scooters, or bikes are permitted on the premises. When entering or leaving the premises normal street footwear is to be worn, no Skates or Roller blades to be worn in the car park.
At Caribbean Rollerama, we prioritise your safety and enjoyment. While it’s not mandatory to wear safety gear, we strongly recommend using protective equipment such as wrist guards, knee pads, elbow pads and a helmet to ensure a safe skating experience. You can bring your own safety gear, or rent from our selection at the rink.
Remember, whether you’re renting or bringing your own skates, they must be clean and in good working order. Socks are required at all times within the facility. Enjoy your skate with peace of mind knowing you’re protected!
Caribbean Rollerama does not have a strict minimum age, however, children do require parental supervision. The smallest rental size available is size 9 and the largest is size 14.

Yes, Caribbean Rollerama have facilities to host events or parties. We cater for parties of all ages however, specialise in kids parties. Please check our party page for more information. Please note Caribbean Rollerama is an alcohol free venue.
Both roller skate and roller blade hire is $4 per person. While walk-ins are welcome, booking in advance can ensure you receive entry, especially during peak times. Parties must be booked at least one week in advance. Look for the discount codes to save on events and general skate sessions (online bookings only).
Yes, to ensure the safety to all patrons our rules and safety regulations can be found with the terms and conditions. We strongly recommend you read these before entering the premises.
Yes our rink has a snack bar with food and beverage options available for purchase. Here’s a short list of the food options available. Hot food: pies, sausage roll, hot dog and hot chips. Snacks: Selection of chocolate bars, lollies and packet chips. Hot Drinks: coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Cold drinks: selection of served drinks coke, lemonade, slushies as well as bottled water and soft drinks. Ice creams: A selection of packaged ice creams.
No food or drinks are allowed to be brought into the facility with the exception of booked parties approved by the Party Coordinator or the Manager. No chewing gum is allowed in the venue.
Weekdays during the school term are typically less crowded than weekend or evening times, but this can vary.
Themed nights are one of our specialities throughout the year we host a number of themed or speciality nights including: Fog Skates, 80s Night, R&B nights, Halloween, Adult Only Skate Nights and more. Check the Event section of the website. These events are subject to change please check the website for the most up to date information.

Whilst we don’t have a strict dress code we request all skaters and guests wear socks, are neatly groomed and conduct themselves appropriately at all times. Please note, any guest wearing offensive clothing will be asked to leave the venue.
Caribbean Rollerama endeavours to be affordable across the board and therefore does not currently provide memberships or discounted packages. However, this is under review. If you are from a school, community group or looking to host an event please contact us.
Caribbean Rollerama is one of the largest, purpose built and operated skating rinks in Victoria.
There are storage boxes for shoes and personal items however, they are to be used at your own risk. Caribbean Rollerama is not responsible for any theft or damage of items brought into the venue.
At the time of writing public transport to our venue is easy.

As of July 15th 2024 Caribbean Rollerama will charge a processing fee on all card transaction. This is 1% online and 0.25% for all Point of Sale transactions at the venue including the shop, snack bar and admission.
