In response to recent radio chatter suggesting Caribbean Rollerama may have rolled to a stop, we’re setting the record straight: Caribbean Rollerama is alive, thriving, and skating stronger than ever!
Since opening our doors in 1981, we’ve welcomed over 3 million visitors through our rink—and we’re not slowing down. Open 7 days a week we celebrate over 1,000 parties each year, host weekly skating classes for kids, beginners and adults and support the local Speed and Artistic disciplines. Caribbean Rollerama remains a cornerstone of family fun and roller sport in Melbourne’s southeast.
In recent years, we’ve refreshed our iconic façade, lighting it up with colour and energy to remind everyone: we’re still open, and we’re still the place to be.
“We’ve heard a few people recently wondering if we’re still open,” says Caribbean Rollerama Manager Jamie Vancam. “The truth is people still love to skate . Whether it’s our dress-up events, themed disco nights, or world-class training facilities, we’re proud to be one of the longest-running and purpose built skating rinks in Australia.”
Known for our family friendly vibe, costumed events and affordability—just $15 for general skate sessions— Caribbean Rollerama is a space where generations have come to roll, laugh, and connect.
Our venue is also a go-to for schools, group bookings, and special events all year round. Guests can also fuel up at our classic snack bar, famous for hot chips and colourful slushies, and visit our on-site shop to grab the latest skates and accessories.
So to everyone wondering if Caribbean Rollerama is still around: We’re not just here—we’re iconic. And we’re rolling better than ever.
